Following the creation of Brother From Another Mother, we still couldn’t resist bringing a Sister From Another Mister into the world. While some people pushed us toward something delicate, we wanted to go for power. This blend of Sangiovese and Syrah is very much a Pacific Northwest wine, even if the inspiration nods toward a sort of Super Tuscan idea.
The 2024 presents dark cherry and blackberry tones framed by herbs, a trace of olive, and warm spice. It’s energetic and generous, with the kind of shape and grip that make it feel made for the table. Braises, burgers, ragù, fall vegetables, aged cheese; this wine high-fives all of it.
