RONX is a single barrel of Waving Tree Rosé of Nebbiolo that sat on Chardonnay lees for 18 months, and it turned into something strange in the best possible way. It toes the line between rosé, red, and white, with real texture, real depth, and a bunch of weird little edges that make it deeply compelling. We love in-between wines, and this is very much one of those.
Aromas move in and out of amaro-like herbs, cherry jelly, red plum, and watermelon rind, with a tangy savory note that instantly makes you hungry. The palate brings watermelon, sour cherry, green apple pucker, dried apple chips, tomato leaf, and cracked black pepper. It shape-shifts, keeps moving, and refuses to sit still. Super limited and super fun.
