Nebbiolo wants food. This is a wine for the dinner table. You can drink it on its own for sure, but it shines best with ribeye steak, mushroom and/or truffle pasta dishes, all pizza (at least to me), lasagna, sausage, braised duck, braised pork shank, beef tenderloin, and roast turkey. It wants to be on a table full of food.

Aromas of macerated cherries, stems and all, roses, cedar, savory, walnut skin, and a hint of the resinous note of pine tar, with a cool freshness reminiscent of freshly fallen snow, lead into flavors of blackcap raspberry, savory, black cherry, and red and dark plums. Finely textured tannins carry through a long finish. Distinctive, slightly structured, and deeply food-friendly.
